The Big On The Beach House

This oceanfront home has the best views on the entire island! It’s location offers amazing views of dolphins, manatees, tarpon and a huge array of sea birds. All rooms in this home have ocean views! The upper level living room has a large screen TV. The adjacent kitchen is fully equipped for the gourmet cook in the group and features beautiful granite counters and stainless steel appliances. The dining room table is large enough to seat 12 with additional seating at the bar in the kitchen. The patio just off of the kitchen has a gas grill and an area to dine or sit and watch the sunset from this patio. This home has 6 bedrooms: 4 King size, 1 Queen and 1 with 2 twin beds, all of which have views of the ocean. There is a downstairs sitting area with a pullout queen couch and the upstairs living area also has a Queen pullout couch, both areas also have beautiful ocean views. The lower level deck is screened in with a nice sitting area for the group and double bar fridges which are convenient for your group on the beach. This home comes with 1 golf cart and if your group needs more we offer more at an additional charge. Lastly, but not least, this vacation home comes with the North Captiva Island Club membership giving our guests access to kayaks, bicycles, paddle boards, 2 heated pools, a hot tub, tennis courts and pickle ball courts (sometime in 2023), poolside bar and restaurant. Big on the Beach House has high speed Starlink internet.

For those who love shelling, North Captiva is a sheller’s paradise. And, if you vacation from May – October, you might be fortunate enough to see huge Loggerhead turtles nesting which our family did last summer or the tiny baby turtles after they hatch, returning to the ocean at night! There is also a kid’s program on the island for an afternoon of fun and learning about the nature on the island.

For days when you don’t feel like cooking, try one of the fabulous restaurants on the island. Or if you would like a specially prepared meal, there are excellent personal chefs who come right to your oceanfront vacation home and prepare any meal that you choose and is always a highlight of our guests stays.

Boating charters are a popular activity and range from fishing charters, sunset cruises, dolphin & manatee tours shelling tours or our favorite, hop over to one of the nearby close island to have lunch at one of their great restaurants!

Oceanfront massages on the beach are another highlight of many guests vacations.
